difficulty and time are an estimate made while writing, not a measurement.
before you start
- the
Wrath of the Ancients - the rocket test site opena test has to have happened, and they come round every five to seven minutes
- the Wunderspheres workingthree of the shots are taken while you are flying through the air
the steps
every bow starts as the
Wrath of the Ancients, and that starts with three stone dragon heads. kill zombies in front of each one until it has had enough and crumbles.- the courtyard past
Double Tap, above the door down to the Undercroft - Mission Control, the church room, above the fireplace
- the Undercroft, near the pyramid
with all three fed, the bow is in the Tomb room, the one joining the Undercroft to Mission Control.
you only get this wrong oncethey eat slowly and one at a time. wait for a dragon to finish the zombie it has before you kill the next one in front of it, or the kill does not count and you have wasted the crowd.
- the courtyard past
up the spiral staircase inside the Clock Tower. at the top there is a glowing red symbol on the wall. shoot it with the
Wrath of the Ancientsand the clockwork behind it opens, dropping the broken arrow in a pile.wait at the rocket platform for a rocket test to finish. the second the sealed doors open, get out and shoot the rock above the
VMPwall buy, on your right as you come through the doors: it is glowing orange from the heat.a fireball comes down out of the sky towards the castle when it lands.
you only get this wrong onceabout ten seconds. the rock cools and stops glowing, and then it is another five to seven minutes for the next test. stand as close to the doors as you can bear while the test runs.
tipthe second source gives a line for it: from the middle of the doorway walk straight out until you are past the tracks running across your path, turn ninety degrees right, and shoot the middle of the red glow in the upper left of the rock.
three glowing circles on the ground, and each one has to be hit while you are in the air off a Wundersphere:
- the Clock Tower, left of the landing pad
- the death ray, in front of the Wundersphere
- near
Double Tap, on the bridge outside spawn
a circle only glows while you are airborne, and stays glowing once you have hit it, so you can always see what is left.
tipall three can be done from the Wundersphere in the room above
Double Tap. for the Clock Tower one, fire just before you land. for the other two, aim and fire before you launch: the arrow takes three or four seconds to get there, so leave about two seconds and then jump.stand inside each circle and kill zombies there. your screen goes red while you are in one, which is the only confirmation you get.
back at the Clock Tower there is an exposed cog. interact with it and a symbol appears in one of three fireplaces: Mission Control, the supply room, or Samantha's room. one of your three circles lights up, and the two are linked:
- the Clock Tower circle goes to the supply room fireplace
- the circle at the top of the castle goes to Mission Control
- the
Double Tapbridge circle goes to Samantha's room
stand in the lit circle and fire a charged shot towards its fireplace. a volcanic rock appears. you now have four shots to walk it there: each one fired from near the rock while your screen is red, aiming at the fireplace.
then interact with the fire and take the broken arrow back.
go to the top of the castle and interact with the sun. it hands the arrow back reforged, loudly.
put the reforged arrow in its own altar in the Undercroft. a Max Ammo drops, and a square lights up around the pyramid.
kill zombies inside that square until a sound plays and the arrow has a white border on it. interact with it, let the animation finish, and the upgraded bow is yours.
this last part is the same for all four bows.
arrow keys or j and k to move, d to tick this one off.
all of it, done.
what that got youKreeaho'ahm nal Ahmhogaroc, which sets the ground alight and burns everything that walks through it
