before you start
- the
Wrath of the Ancients - anti-gravity switched onthe last step is a wall run past a hole in a wall
- the rocket test site open
the steps
every bow starts as the
Wrath of the Ancients, and that starts with three stone dragon heads. kill zombies in front of each one until it has had enough and crumbles.- the courtyard past
Double Tap, above the door down to the Undercroft - Mission Control, the church room, above the fireplace
- the Undercroft, near the pyramid
with all three fed, the bow is in the Tomb room, the one joining the Undercroft to Mission Control.
you only get this wrong oncethey eat slowly and one at a time. wait for a dragon to finish the zombie it has before you kill the next one in front of it, or the kill does not count and you have wasted the crowd.
- the courtyard past
four paintings tell the story of the Wolf King, and you interact with them in the order the story goes, not the order you find them:
1. the Wolf King on his throne with his wolves 2. the Wolf King on his horse, helmet on, carrying a flag 3. a mountain with a castle on it, and lightning 4. the Wolf King down beside his shield, with Arthur mourning him
the four places never change, but which painting is at which place does, every game. a guitar strums and a double wolf symbol stays on the painting when you get one right.
you only get this wrong oncethe two sources do not name the same four walls. they agree on the Clock Tower one, just before the spiral staircase, and on a balcony in Mission Control. for the other two, one says the Trophy Room opposite the Gobblegum machine and the hallway to Samantha's room; the other says the Trophy Room by the
KRM-262wall buy and the wall next to the barrier between Samantha's room and the power switch room. it is very likely the same four walls described from different doorways, but walk both descriptions rather than assuming.with the four paintings read in order, the wolf symbol on the wall near the pyramid crumbles on its own. the broken arrow is on the floor in front of the stairs coming down from Mission Control.
at the rocket test site, look up at the cliff above and slightly left of the giant blast doors for a red flag. shoot it and a glowing wolf skull rolls down the hill for you to pick up.
you only get this wrong onceshoot the base of the flag where it goes into the ground, not the cloth. the second source is explicit about it and the first does not mention it, and it is the whole reason this shot feels broken when it is not.
tipstand on the raised platform by the rocket to be as level with it as you can get. it can also be shot mid-flight from the Wundersphere, in which case the skull is already rolling when you land.
put the skull on the wolf skeleton, right of the wolf altar near the pyramid. a spectral wolf appears.
follow it. it stops at a dig site, and you kill zombies near it until it starts scratching and turns up a bone for you to take. it then walks off and does it again. three times.
the wolf finally sits against a wall in the Undercroft with a large hole in it. wait for anti-gravity, wall run past it until the double wolf head symbol shows above the hole, and then, still wall running, put an arrow into the hole.
a platform forms. interact with the coffin in there and take the reforged arrow.
you only get this wrong oncethe hole is much bigger than the thing you have to hit. it takes several passes, and missing costs you nothing but another lap of the wall.
put the reforged arrow in its own altar in the Undercroft. a Max Ammo drops, and a square lights up around the pyramid.
kill zombies inside that square until a sound plays and the arrow has a white border on it. interact with it, let the animation finish, and the upgraded bow is yours.
this last part is the same for all four bows.
arrow keys or j and k to move, d to tick this one off.
all of it, done.
