difficulty and time are an estimate made while writing, not a measurement.
before you start
- the
Wrath of the Ancients - the power onthe last step is in the corridor that leads to it
- the patience to make six crawlersthe demon wants zombies with their legs off, and it wants six of them in one place
the steps
every bow starts as the
Wrath of the Ancients, and that starts with three stone dragon heads. kill zombies in front of each one until it has had enough and crumbles.- the courtyard past
Double Tap, above the door down to the Undercroft - Mission Control, the church room, above the fireplace
- the Undercroft, near the pyramid
with all three fed, the bow is in the Tomb room, the one joining the Undercroft to Mission Control.
you only get this wrong oncethey eat slowly and one at a time. wait for a dragon to finish the zombie it has before you kill the next one in front of it, or the kill does not count and you have wasted the crowd.
- the courtyard past
in the gate trap room next to
Double Tap, on the slanted ceiling between the two iron gates, there is a painted glyph. shoot it with theWrath of the Ancients. the brickwork comes down with the broken arrow in it, and the demon starts talking to you.a tile in the middle of the Trophy Room starts glowing purple. melee kill a zombie directly over it: the tile breaks and an urn comes up. interact with it and it rises, drawing a summoning circle around itself.
six Keeper skulls, interacted with rather than picked up. they glow purple and fly back to the circle:
- past the
L-CAR 9wall buy on the way up from spawn, in a nook on the floor with a lantern above it, left of the corpse slumped on the broken wall - the upper courtyard, on a windowsill up the stairs past the
Vesperwall buy, before Mission Control - Samantha's room, in the open toy chest by the bed
- at
Double Tap, on the ruined wall right of the tipped over shelves - the teleporter room in the Undercroft, in the sink on the right as you walk in
- the rocket platform, in the back of the truck left of the
Trip Mineswall buy
- past the
the demon wants broken souls: zombies with their legs off. make six crawlers and lead them into the circle, where the skulls eat them.
when it is done the urn says three of six crests: Griffin, Heart, Door, Stag, Crown or Horn. write them down in the order it says them.
tipforget the words and you have not lost anything: shoot the urn with the
Wrath of the Ancientsand it says them again.zombies now occasionally drop a symbol, which joins the summoning circle when you pick it up. there are six to collect and they vanish quickly.
you only get this wrong oncein co-op only the player carrying the broken void arrow drops them. everybody else's kills give nothing, so the group's job here is to feed that one player kills rather than to help look.
six knights stand in the corridor leading to the power, each with a crest below it. find the three the urn named and interact with them. each one shows you which symbol in the summoning circle belongs to that crest.
tipyou only need the three, but reading all six costs nothing and settles any doubt about which is which.
back at the circle, shoot the three symbols with the
Wrath of the Ancients, in the order the urn said the crests.right, and it says "that is my name". interact with the purple glow and take the reforged arrow.
you only get this wrong oncewrong order or wrong symbols and the skulls attack you. you have to leave the room entirely before you can try again, so check the order before the first shot rather than after the second.
put the reforged arrow in its own altar in the Undercroft. a Max Ammo drops, and a square lights up around the pyramid.
kill zombies inside that square until a sound plays and the arrow has a white border on it. interact with it, let the animation finish, and the upgraded bow is yours.
this last part is the same for all four bows.
arrow keys or j and k to move, d to tick this one off.
all of it, done.
