Samantha's Lullaby, in the prison
the one easter egg on this map that costs you the game you are in. do nothing at all, for long enough, at the very start.
- players
- any number
- solo
- possible alone
- difficulty
- time
- about 5 minutes
- reward
- the song plays over an ending you do not otherwise get to see
difficulty and time are an estimate made while writing, not a measurement.
before you start
- a game you do not mind losingthis is done in the first minute and it ends there. start a game for it rather than doing it to one you were enjoying
the steps
every game of this map opens with you in Afterlife, having to shock your own body back up.
do not. stand still and let the Afterlife timer run all the way down.
Samantha's Lullaby, by Kevin Sherwood, plays over what happens next. it is the same song Nuketown hides behind three teddy bears, which is a much cheaper way to hear it.you only get this wrong oncethe two sources describe this differently and neither says much. the easter egg list gives the method above: stand still, do not revive yourself, die to the Afterlife timer. the map page says only that the song "can be heard in a secret ending for the map" and does not say how. they are probably the same thing described from either end, but nobody has written down the detail, so treat the method as one source's.
